Grommet drapery

Grommet drapes include plastic, rubber, or metal rings (called “grommets”) evenly spaced along the top to facilitate opening and closing. The rod is fed through the grommets, which reduce the friction usually caused by fabric to make sliding the drapes virtually effortless. Combined with decorative hardware and finials, grommet curtains make a bold, contemporary statement, accented by the soft folds of fabric that draw the eyes upward when the curtains are open. The look can be softened or made even bolder depending on the choice of fabric and color.
